She was predeceased by: her mother Elaine Luckhart; her stepfather Elton Luckhart of Naples; and her brother James Jones. She is survived by: her husband Carl F. Medley, Jr.; her children, Liz Garden (David) of Shrewsbury, MA, Emily Robbins (Michael) of Chesapeake, VA, Carl Medley, III (Liane) of Las Vegas, NV and Philip Medley (Lauren) of Washington, DC.; her grandchildren, Cameron, Will, Cayce, Lily, Emerson, Alex, Oliver and Agnes Marianne; and her sisters, Patricia and Susan. She is also survived by friends' children.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Norfolk Botanical Gardens.
