With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Edith Kinzel (Virginia Beach, Virginia), who passed away on May 25, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Alexander and Minnie Saunders Alexander; and her siblings, Corretta Alexander Simmons, Buddy Alexander and Herbert Alexander.
She is survived by: her husband James Kinzel; her daughter Mary; her daughter-in-law Jeannine Kinzel; her grandchildren, Keith, Kyle, Kirsten, Amanda, Ryan (Strausbaugh), Reid, Ross, Reece, Becca, Chelsey (Benzel), Dalton, Marianna, Alanna, Elizabeth, Morgan, Kurt (Parker), Alexa, Brenna, Cade, Reagan, Hailey (Kinzel), Devin, Grayson and Landon (Kinzel); and her great grandchildren, Dean, Colt, Drew, Eli (Strausbaugh), Baylor and Traser (Parker). She is also survived by 5 loving children and their spouses.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Princess Anne Chapel (3445 Princess Anne Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23456). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint John (1968 Sandbridge Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23456).
