She was predeceased by: her parents, James Dines and Mary Alice Yount. She is survived by: her children, Samantha Phibbs, Amanda Marshall and John "J. T." Barber; her brothers, Glen Russell, Mark E. Dines and Karl Marshall; and her granddaughter Iva Mae Barber.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Altmeyer Funeral Home Southside Chapel (5033 Rouse Dr, Virginia Beach, VA 23462). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Freedom Fellowship Church (836 Regency Dr, Virginia Beach, VA 23454).
