She was predeceased by: her husband William E. Barnes. She is survived by: her child Meals; her brother Raymond Scott Jr. of Virginia Beach; and her children, William Barnes Jr. of Elloree, S. C. and Patricia Sherrill of Portsmouth. She is also survived by two granddaughters and 2 great grandsons.
