He is survived by: his children, Jada Mackey of Portsmouth, VA, Michael Gatlin of Virginia Beach, VA and Tyronne Bea of Virginia Beach, VA; his significant other Sandra Johnson; his children, Katera Gallop, Diondra Kelly, Anthony Nash and Demetrious Johnson; and his siblings, Waltiena James (Albert) of Virginia Beach, VA, Therlean Freeman of Virginia Beach, VA, Wanda Gatlin of Virginia Beach, VA, Mary Williams (Larry) of Virginia Beach, VA, Subrena Winbish (Ronnie) of Virginia Beach, VA, Joyce Archibald (Linwood) of Norfolk, VA, Forrest Gatlin, Bernard Gilchrist, Roger Gilchrist (Lyn), Carlton Gilchrist and Calvin Gilchrist (Theresa). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
