We are sad to announce that on October 27, 2025, at the age of 68, Michael Agnew (Virginia Beach, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Michael is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Michael's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parent Captain Frank. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his mother Anne Agnew; his children, Kate (Dave) and Sam (Michelle); his sisters, Elisa (Tom) and Laura (Tim); and his granddaughter Eliza. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and countless other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel (1264 N Great Neck Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23454). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
