He is survived by: his sister Margie Briggs; his nieces, Lisa Wood and Regina Dawson; his brother Martin Brewton; his children, Victoria Chancery and Andrew Brewton; his nieces and nephews, Donald, Ronald and Lonnie Skipper; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kyle Teague, Cameron Wood, Deanna Genthe, Logan Spruill, Genoa Benecke, Bret Dawson, Drew, Darien, Delynne Chancery, Justin Brewton, Rose Cochran, Tye, Ryan, Taylor, Alex Skipper, Noah Wilmer, Samantha, Jack and Bella Cleveland.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 5:00 PM at 1 Busch Gardens Blvd, Williamsburg, VA 23185. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Black Forest.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Mike's memory to the American Heart Association.
