With sadness, we share the passing of Michael W. Nicodemus (Virginia Beach, Virginia). Michael, born on September 22, 1952 in Altoona, Pennsylvania, passed away on September 19, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Maxine Larson (Nicodemus) and Richard Nicodemus; his stepfather Donald Larson; his siblings, Ann Harshbarger and Patrick Nicodemus; and his daughter Erica Nicodemus.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his children, Erin Van Houten (Wendell) of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Ryan Nicodemus (Stacy) of Midlothian, Virginia; and his grandchildren, Garrett, Evan, Ella and Graham.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Pius X Catholic Church. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
