He was predeceased by: his parents, Murphy Greer and Willie Greer; his wife Patricia Greer; his sons, Lewis Keith Greer and Talmadge C. Greer; and his siblings, Vina Mae, Bettie Greer, James and Charles Greer.
He is survived by: his children, James Dennis Greer-Collins (Florence Collins), Misty Renee Greer Gillikin and Wendy Gay Greer Watkins (Thomas Watkins); his granddaughter Chasity; and his great grandchild Alexis. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
