He is survived by: his friend Merlie Jansak; his children, Myron Lawrence, Jr. (Evelyn), Anthony Lawrence (Pamela), Michael "Mike" Tyus, William Jansak, Jr., Beshonta Gayle and Merlie Jansak; his siblings, Florence Hines, Beatrice Haskins-Vaughan, Hyacinth Lawrence and William Preston Lawrence (Janice); his siblings-in-law, Gloria Spruill, Della Lawrence, Mary Lawrence and Jimmye Ashley; and his aunt Darlene Bell. He is also survived by loving nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
