With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy Z. Jones of Virginia Beach, Virginia, who passed away on January 5, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Nancy leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her mother Harriet Elisabeth Lyon Zercher; and her husband Norris E. Jones, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Jones Guidry (Jon) and Gregory Earl Jones (Suzanne); her grandchildren, Jeremy Jones, Skylar Guidry, Lauren Guidry and Hannah Guidry; her sister-in-law Jacqueline Jones Greer; and her nieces, Jane Fowler and Susan Lukeman (Tim).
