She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Ray Shilling and Evelyn May Heckman; and her husband Eddie Ralph Linger. She is survived by: her caregiver Tammy; her daughters, Michele "Shelli" Hammer (Douglas) of Leicester, NC and Cheryl Corbin (John) of Virginia Beach, VA.; her grandchildren, Chris Whitman (Katie) of Lewiston, ID, Zachary Byrd of Virginia Beach, Justine Clark (William) of Wilmington, NC, Jessica Byrd of Virginia Beach and Darienne Price (Chase) of Charlotte, NC.; her great grandchildren, Lexus, Porscia, Adalyn Whitman, Tristyn, Zayden, Jaxyn Byrd, Airlie, Adley, Myers Clark, Makayla and Savannah Ball; her siblings, Meta Ann Swope (Marvin) of Waynesboro, PA, Cassandra Babineau (Paul) of Williamsport, MD, Susan Doub (Gary) of Hagerstown, MD, Patricia Lushbaugh (Ray) of Hagerstown, MD, Stanley Shilling (Magali) of Kentucky and Michael Shilling (Cynthia) of Durham, NC; and her brothers-in-law, James Linger (Marilyn) of Florida and Richard Linger (Janet) of Virginia. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
