She was predeceased by: her parents, Jake Lester and Sylvia Lester; her husband Ronnie Holmes, Sr.; her brother Wayne Lester; and her son Ray Holmes.
She is survived by: her children, Ron Holmes (Tonya) of Honaker, VA, JC Holmes of Virginia Beach, VA and Spring Dowdy (Rodney) of Virginia Beach, VA; and her siblings, Robert Lester (Betty) of Abingdon, VA, Paul Lester (Terri) of Virginia Beach, VA and Christine Michael (Jimmy) of Bland, VA. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and a host of friends.
