He was predeceased by: his parents, James Paul Lankford and ThomasEna Gandy Lankford. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Erskine Lankford; his son Alan Lankford; his siblings, Constance Chase, Melody Worrell and Rodney Lankford; his siblings-in-law, Lynn Darnell and Randall Chase; and his daughter-in-law Lindsey Stoneking. He is also survived by two nieces, two nephews, two great-nieces, and a great nephew.
