It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Penelope Canant of Virginia Beach, Virginia, who passed away on December 31, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Braxton and Mary Braxton; and her sister Virginia Buck. She is survived by: her husband John F. Canant; her daughter Leslie C. Langslow (Ken) of Virginia Beach, VA; her grandchildren, Marina Canant, Isabella Langslow, Megan Maeang and Paul Canant; her brother Al Braxton (Peggy); her cousin Kenny Andrews; her friend Linda Williams; her daughter-in-law Denise Curran; and her pet Tigger. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
