She was predeceased by: her parents, John Herman Colley, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Colley; her husband Eddie C. Cooke, Sr.; her brother John Herman Colley, Jr.; and her sons, Eddie C. Cooke, Jr., Sean Colley and Christopher Colley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dr. Denette O. Cooke of Chesapeake and Colleen M. Colley of Oregon; her daughter-in-law Julie Stutzman Cooke (late Eddie C. Cooke, Jr.); her grandsons, William C. Cooke of Virginia Beach, Tyler Koch and Chase MacKay of Oregon; her great grandchild Paislee Koch of Oregon; her sister Margaret Colley Gunter of Virginia Beach; her sisters-in-law, Victoria Cooke of Chesapeake and Glacie Colley of Norfolk; and her close friend Marsha Sykes.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dr. Cooke's nonprofit, drcookevet.com, a 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting veterinary healers through mental health initiatives, mentorship, and scholarships, or to the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore.
