It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pierre P. Birtz of Virginia Beach, Virginia, born in Montréal, Québec, who passed away on January 25, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gérard Birtz and Jeannette Birtz; and his siblings, Michel Birtz and Andreé La Porte. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his children, Philip Birtz and Heidi Spagnuolo (Vinny); his grandchildren, Rachel and Lauren Spagnuolo; and his siblings, Michelin Kramer and Jean Birtz (Sharman).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
