It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rebecca Sue Leonard of Virginia Beach, Virginia, born in Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on November 19, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vivian Propst Branscomb of Welch and Arthur Rabon Branscomb of Hillsville, Virginia; and her sister Barbara B. Taylor of Richmond, Virginia.. She is survived by: her husband Paul Edward Leonard, Jr.; her sons, Michael Keith Leonard (Jane) and Neal Edward Leonard (Shannon); her grandchildren, Elle (David Parisher), Tyler (Mikaylynn Leonard), Maggie (Seth Calhoun), Holly Leonard and Jordan Leonard; and her great grandchildren, Haley, Rylee and Kennedy Parisher. She is also survived by nine nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Running Strong for American Indian Youth, Saint Jude Children's Hospital or The Southeastern Food Bank of Virginia.
