With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rhoda Dalton of Virginia Beach, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 1, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Hayes Todd Pfitzenmeyer; her husband John Joseph Dalton; and her siblings, Hazel Pfitzenmeyer Stansbury and Hayes Todd Pfitzenmeyer, Jr.. She is survived by: her mother Eva Earnshaw Pfitzenmeyer; her son Joseph Michael Dalton (Anne); her grandsons, Jack Dalton and Matthew Dalton; and her nieces, Mary Margaret Stansbury Poole, Candace Stansbury Ross and Lezah Stansbury Dowhower.
