He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ankney and Martha Ankney; and his granddaughter Sarah Webb. He is survived by: his wife Jean Ankney; his children, Joel Ankney (Jennifer), Robert Webb and Melanie Ankney (Diego Bucheli); his grandchildren, Joshua (Caitlin), Jacob, Joseph (Karlie), Jess Ankney, Austin, Elizabeth Webb and Maria Paulina Bucheli (Juan Fernando Cevallos); and his great grandchildren, Olivia, Emma, Amalia, Asher and Rosie.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Newtown Chapel (4873 Bonney Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23462).
