He is survived by: his wife Sherry Terry Basye; his daughter Katherine Basye Welton (Ellsworth Judd Welton) of Ellicott City; and his grandchildren, Liam Taylor Basye, George Charles Basye, Benjamin Joseph Welton and Julia Grace Welton.
