Robert C. Butler wrote a sympathy message

“Mr. Richard Pulley taught me History in 1960 at H. W. Thorpe JHS Summer School in 1960. He cared for us students, and he made learning easier; it was obvious that he cared. For years, I tried to thank him, but with my computer, I've finally found him. It there's an afterlife, I'll tell him "Thanks", then.”
