Richard Dunleavy Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Dunleavy (Virginia Beach, Virginia), who passed away on November 16, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Sibyl Evelyn Blair of Coral Gables; and his son Mark Blair Dunleavy. He is survived by: his sons, Richard Michael Dunleavy II of Clearwater, Florida, Greg Dunleavy (Mark Dunleavy) of Andover, Massachusetts, Matt Dunleavy (Sarah Dunleavy) of Blacksburg, Virginia and David Dunleavy (Dave Schacht) of Bonnieux, France.; and his grandchildren, Jordan Dunleavy, Richard Michael Dunleavy III, Sophia Dunleavy, Christopher Dunleavy, Cass Dunleavy and Eden Dunleavy. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Tailhook Educational Foundation or to St. John the Apostle Catholic Church are welcome.
