He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hubbard Clifton and Patricia Ann Shoop Lafoon; his wife Patricia Lafoon; his children, Kristi Lafoon of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Dwayne Kiser; his daughter-in-law Kym of Portage, Indiana; his son Brandon Lafoon; his daughter-in-law Tina of Hampstead; his son Wyatt Lafoon of Virginia Beach, Virginia; his grandchildren, Brianna Keeling (Anthony), Amber Rogers (Ryan), John Thomas Lafoon and Nola Lafoon; his great grandchildren, Hunter Kiser-Rogers, Maverick Keeling and Maddie Keeling; and his siblings, Elaine Rowley (Earl) of South Hill, Donna Cliborne (Bruce) of La Crosse, Virginia and Mark Lafoon of Raleigh.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Kempsville Baptist Church (5204 Princess Anne Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23464).
