He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Raymond Alton and Mary Henzy; his wife Frances Wolf Alton; his daughter Peggy Tiller; and his siblings, Thomas Alton, William Alton, Marie Miller, Patricia Cherry and Anne Marable.
He is survived by: his daughter Carol Reavis (Bert); his granddaughters, Erin Reavis and Amy Giulioni (Brandon); and his great grandchildren, Phillip Reavis, Grace Giulioni and Lila Giulioni. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel (1485 Kempsville Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23464). A prayer was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (8100 Granby St, Norfolk, VA 23505).
