He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leroy Oldfield and Bonnie Davis Oldfield; his wife Kay; his children, Mark and Donna Hope; and his grandchildren, Walker Hope, Macrae Hope and Derek Oldfield.

In lieu of flowers his family asks that memorial donations be made to Community United Methodist Church.
