He was predeceased by: his parents, Leotis E. Bailey and Noma C. Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Bailey; his children, Adrian Bailey (Akiko) and Melissa Merritt (Thomas); his grandchildren, Maya, Roselin, Sasha, Kai and Margot; his siblings, Shelia Cejka (Terry) and Larry Bailey (Nancy); and his close friend Dudley Melton. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
