He is survived by: his wife Liz Spear; his children, Brittany Samulski (Christopher) and Logan Spear (Ruhi Srinivasan); his grandson Alexander Samulski; and his siblings, Sue Lawhead, Ken Spear (Charleen), Phil Spear (Ann) and Rick Spear (Sarah). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
