He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Daniel Blount, Sr. and Mary Christine "Big" Blount; his brother Jack Blount; and his wife Barbara Anne Gibbs Blount. He is survived by: his daughter Janet Blount Crump Brown (William Brown) of Chesapeake; his grandchildren, Jessica Crump Tomlin and Bradley McLean Crump; his great grandchildren, Owen, Levi and Jude Tomlin; his granddaughters, Natasha, Samantha and Jacqueline; his son Ronald Lee Blount (Bonnie Snapp Blount) of Suffolk; his grandsons, Joshua Penn Blount and Jeremy Daniel Blount (Rachael Blount); his great grandchild Annie Joy Blount; his daughter Beverly Blount Loehn (Brian Loehn) of Chesapeake; his granddaughters, Victoria Faith Loehn and Olivia Grace Loehn; his sister Mary Blount Shepard; and his siblings-in-law, Paul Shepard, Gloria Asbell and Norma Gibbs. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
