He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria B. Vergonio (Jaramillo) and Francisco Vergonio; his wife Francisca; his son James Vergonio; his children-in-law, Mary Ann DuRant (Edward), Merlinda Vergonio (Michael) and Maricel Villanueva (Lejandro); and his grandchildren, Skylar, Isabella and Nathaniel.
He is survived by: his brothers, Enrique and Jerry. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Princess Anne Chapel (3445 Princess Anne Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23456). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church (1396 Lynnhaven Pkwy, Virginia Beach, VA 23453).
