He is survived by: his wife Joan Nixon Lyons; and his children, Lisa Frulla (David) of Bethesda, MD, Anne Michele Kuhns (Paul) of Rehoboth Beach, DE, Thomas J. Lyons III and Russell Jordan Lyons of Virginia Beach.
