He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon "Dutch" Nye and Beverley Chambers Nye. He is survived by: his wife Beth Pacilio Nye; his children, Erin Elizabeth Nye (Ben Arrington) and David Hunter Nye; his brother Richard C. Nye (Rosemary Nye); and his pet Hazel.
