She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Bell and Grace Bell; her siblings, Shirley Blough, Fred and James Bell; her former husband John Ronald Strayer (Ronnie); and her daughter Beth Ellen Strayer Ironmonger.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Bang, Diane Follin (Wayne), Denise Smith (Bill) and Sally Plaisance (Fred); and her stepsons, Michael and Tony Waldecker. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel (3600 Virginia Beach Blvd, Virginia Beach, VA 23452).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
