She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Pearl Mosley and James Albert Cox; and her siblings, Sheila Ann Hux, Brenda Kaye Colston, Georgia Lynn Clay and Vernon C. Reveal.

She is survived by: her husband Frederick Ray White; her daughters, Catherine Dale Hairston (Donald) of Philadelphia, PA, Noma Karen Elepano (Mark) of Virginia Beach, VA and Pamela Sue Dimino (Michael) of Virginia Beach, VA; her sisters, Marsha Faye Tegl of Gaston, NC and Lila "Frankie" Francis Wright of Roanoke Rapids, NC; and her grandchildren, Lauren Nicole Hairston, Courtney Leigh Hairston, Brandon Michael Dimino, Alan Mitchel Hairston, Joshua Ray Elepano, Dominick August Dimino and Kailyn Alexa Dimino.
