It is with sadness that the passing of William Michael Bodnar (Virginia Beach, Virginia) is shared. William, born on November 19, 1935 in Donora, Pennsylvania, passed away on October 2, 2026. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bodnar and Mary Bodnar (Claudette); his siblings, Fred, Patricia and Carole; his daughter Julie; and his daughter-in-law Kellie.
He is survived by: his wife Yvonne; his brother Richard (Melba); his children, C. J. (Jill), Richard (Cristie), Michael (Christi) and Jamie (Chuck); his grandchildren, Abigail, Ryan, Josie, Ashley, Grace, Genevieve and Jeb; and his great grandchild Theo.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Gregory's Catholic Church (5345 Virginia Beach Blvd, Virginia Beach, VA 23462). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Old Mount Lebanon Cemetery.
