He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Lee Hooker and Peggie Louise Roberson-Martin; his brothers, Terry Perkins and Derrick Perkins; and his son David Liverman.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Roberson; his children, Derrick William Whitehurst, Antonio Liverman (Pam), Kenneth Bradley, Trena Holley, Luciana Yancy (David), Tina Blunt (Curtis), Lateshie Elliott (Charles Wade), Robin Eldridge (Joharn) and Cory Elliott; his siblings, Antonio Perkins (Michelle), Tom Perkins (Melissa), Ilene Roberson, Carol Duckett and Latanya Crudup (Aaron); and his aunt Anne Wiggins. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren; 16 great‑grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
