He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Linda Kidd and Waid Kidd; his wife Valerie Murphy Simerson; and his brothers, Larry Simerson (Yubi), Jeff Simerson (Kelly) and Brian Simerson. He was also cherished by his extended family including 3 brothers-in-law and 13 nieces and nephews.
