Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint William leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Alfred Simkins Sr. and Cynthia Hutt; and his sisters, Cynthia Coleman and Carol Patterson. He is survived by: his wife Mary Simkins; and his children, William Simkins III (Melissa), Leo Simkins (Roxann), Mikele Simkins (Jonathan) and India Simkins-Vance. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
