He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Walker, Sr. and Emma Walker; his wife Sandra Marie Parks; and his siblings, Ernest Walker Jr., Mary Bradford, Johnny Walker and Cornell Walker.
He is survived by: his brother Billy; his children, Robin Rose (Ellis), Gregory Walker and Christopher Walker (Tanya); his grandchildren, Brandon Rose, Wesley Rose, Christian Walker and Cyla Walker; his great grandchildren, Zane Rose and Zara Rose; his brothers, William Walker (Vonceal) and Leon Walker (Francis); and his siblings-in-law, Dennis Parks (Gloria), LaVon Sherrod and Bernice Hill. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
He later became a member of First Lynnhaven Baptist Church, joining and singing in the Mass and Men choirs until the pandemic of 2020 and his health began to decline.
