With sadness, we share the passing of Christine Stubblefield Searcy of Wakefield, Virginia. Christine, born on April 9, 1929, passed away on September 26, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Thomas Stubblefield and Mary Elizabeth Hancock Stubblefield; and her brothers, Carl, Leslie and Hix Stubblefield.
She is survived by: her children, Becky S. Duke (David), Susan S. Repp (Dave) and Ketih Searcy; and her grandchildren, Jacob, Angela, Emma, Mary, Bryan, Whitney and Kelsey. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Wakefield Cemetery (205 W Church St, Wakefield, VA 23888).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
