She was predeceased by: her parents, Fannie Mae West and Lee Roy Phelps; and her brothers, Lee Roy Phelps, Jr. and Jimmy C. Phelps. She is survived by: her husband Albert Lee Horne; and her children, William Godfrey, Susan Carter, Teresa Andreatos (Jerry), Daniel Amos (Louise) and James Wooten (Tracie). She is also survived by ten grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
