She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Atkinson and Sadie Holmes Anderson; her husband John Sears Carson; and her son John Sears Carson II. She is survived by: her children, Susan Carson Griffin (Woody) of Surry and Charles Forrest Carson (Nancy) of Birney, Montana; her grandchildren, Jacob, Luke, William, Jennifer (Jon) and Jonathan (Olivia); and her great grandchildren, Sam, Charlie and Sadie. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
