He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret Elizabeth Joyner Barricks; his son Michael Gregory Barricks; his grandson Michael Gregory Barricks; and his sister Joyce Ricks (Dee). He is survived by: his father Elmer Madison "Bill" Barricks, Sr.; his wife Faye Aycock Barricks; his children, Cindy Hogwood, Buddy Kingery, Bobby Kingery (Ray), Lori Blalock (Perry), Stan Barricks, Sean Kingery (Jean) and Todd Barricks (Audra); his grandchildren, Angela, Ryan, Allison, Mandy, Amy, Billy, John K., John B., Justin, Heather, Dustin, Hunter of Hannah, J. R., Dillon, Madison, Cody, Kayla and Beau; his niece Kristy; and his friend Debbie Sanderson. He is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the East Matoaca Cemetery (21688 Memorial Ave, Petersburg, VA 23803).
