He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Lee Smith and Swannie Bray Smith; and his sisters, Barbara S. (James Pardo) and Bettie S. (Fred Alexander). He is survived by: his wife Jeannine K. Smith; his daughters, Lezlie S. Green (Keith) and Amy S. Blaha (David Jr.); his grandsons, Colin M. Green (Kristen), Brett Mathew Blaha and Brady David Blaha; and his great grandchild Parker Hayes Green. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Warfield Baptist Church (7318 Flat Rock Rd, Warfield, VA 23889). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
