She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Franklin Ramey and Agnes McCarty Ramey; and her husband George Latham Payne. She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth Ramey Payne (Elaine) and George L. Payne, Jr. (Shelley); and her grandchildren, Austin Thomas Payne (Chelsea), Marshall Latham Payne, Bennett Carlisle Payne (Blake) and Miranda Marie Payne.
