With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Amy Elizabeth Rutledge (Warrenton, Virginia), born in Alexandria, Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She is survived by: her parents, Abby Rutledge Higgins and Keith Rutledge (Desert Storm); her siblings, David, Brennan and McKenzie; her aunts and uncles, Valette Piper-Bledsoe (Alex), Starr Piper Parrish (Mitchell), Nate Piper, Seth Piper (Kat), Greg Baxter (Vickie), Randy Baxter (Kim) and Brad Rutledge (Annette); her cousins, Eleanor Piper, Taylor Hines, Ryan Baxter, Kaylie Shupe, Matthew Baxter, Anthony Scaramella, Nick Baxter, Matthew Shubert, Jake Piper, Ein Herron, Amelia Piper-Bledsoe, Juliet, Annabelle Piper and Cassidy Piper; and her grandparents, Blane Piper (Susan) and Deb Asal Piper.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Moser Funeral Home, Inc. (233 Broadview Ave, Warrenton, VA 20186). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
