She was predeceased by: her parents, Wendell Forrest Chapman and Margaret Pearl Chapman; her husband Edgar N. Pool; her brothers, Forrest Chapman, Jr. and Wendell Lee Chapman; her daughter Gloria Jean Vitayanuratti; and her grandsons, Roy Pool Jr. and Tyler Vitayanuvatti.
She is survived by: her children, Margaret Anne Buraker (Larry) of Culpeper, VA, Roy Arnold Pool (Bonnie) of Warrenton, VA and Joyce Marie Wake (Barry) of Front Royal, VA; and her siblings, Roy Arnold Chapman (Betsy) of Sarasota, FL, Kenneth Dale Chapman (Emmie) of Sarasota, FL and Gloria Ann Chapman of Warrenton, VA. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Moser Funeral Home (233 Broadview Ave, Warrenton, VA 20186).
She was a lighting consultant at Colonial Electric Wholesale in Fairfax, VA for many years and later worked at Airlie Foundation in Warrenton, VA for 22 years.
