He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Tabor James, Jr. and Jane Conover James. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betsy" Altmann James of Warrenton, VA; his children, Catherine Gilray (Bryan) of Midland, VA and Zachary James of Orlando, FL; his siblings, Karen West (Matthew) and Dan James (Michelle); and his grandchildren, Ryker, Thoryn and Freyalise Gilray. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Warrenton United Methodist Church (341 Church St, Warrenton, VA 20186).
