She was predeceased by: her son Curtis Charles Dyrud; her brother Harrison "Mickey" Nesbit Bowes; and her parents, Jerome Peter Bowes Jr. and Edith Nesbit Bowes. She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Courtney Desch of Richmond, VA and Edith Dyrud Hollowell of Richmond, VA; and her brother Peter Curtis Bowes of Amarillo, Texas.. She is also survived by four grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and multiple close nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. James Episcopal Church, The Warrenton Horse Show Foundation, or The Alzheimer's Association.
