Ely of Warrenton and Kimberly A. Harvey (Mitchell G. Harvey) of Christiansburg, VA; his grandchildren, Rivers Kurtz-Ely of Bethlehem, PA and Aliza A. Harvey of Christiansburg, VA; his siblings, Vera Lee Frederick (Jim) and Mark C. Ely; and his siblings-in-law, Ronald Trexler, Deb Hallman (Keith) and Jean Dalstad (Erik). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
